How to Korean Popcorn Fried Chicken (Easy Recipe)

Who doesn't like fried chicken? I can even enjoy a boring piece of plain breaded fried chicken. However, what if we can spice things up with crispy Korean fried chicken that is tender, sweet, spicy and garlicky? The perfect combination of the tasty sticky sauce coated on the crispy texture of the chicken is heaven. Oh, the thought of it makes me drool, Yummy!


This dish is essentially the same as any Korean Fried Chicken dish with the same sauce. Even though I like to stuff loads of food in my mouth, I am still a rather neat and tidy eater. That's why I prefer my meat to be not on the bone. Hence, the convenience of stuffing.


The primary sauce ingredient is the delicious Gochujang. The sauce is versatile and can be easily manipulated for a lot of your Korean cooking. I definitely recommend you stock up some so you will never run out of it.


As we are in our last leg of winter, this is a perfect hearty dish to enjoy to during a cold night. Invite some of your friends around to your home and serve them together with some beer or alcohol. Me? G&T or why not some Guinness?

Viola! This is it! Super simple and straightforward. This is why I enjoy cooking at home these days. It is a creative process, and I feel the whole procedure of it. Now I am beginning to understand the thought behind the food that I enjoy having in a restaurant. I am proud to be able to do it now at the comfort of my own home, bringing my own cooking to the table.
